The Most Important Thing

My Dad is very wise.  His advice upon my high school graduation was "The most important thing is to keep the most important thing the most important thing."  It's pretty much the only advice you'll ever need as long as you know what the most important thing is.  And I do.  It's my relationship with Jesus, the Savior of my soul.  I believe that God sent his one and only son to die on the cross for my sins, and that he was raised to life again three days later and now sits with God in heaven.  I believe this with my whole heart.  But there's more to it than just believing, and it's becoming evident that sometimes I go through the motions of Christianity in the comfort of my American society and that I don't always keep my relationship with Jesus actually the most important thing.  And  it's time to start fresh with Jesus.

In my BSF Bible study notes this week it says, 'God intents for us a joyful, adventurous, yet peaceful quality of life that is only possible with him at the center of it.'  Yes, please.

Well, Laelia just woke up, so more later.
